The Professional Development Alliance
will help schools align physical education and health curriculums
with Illinois Learning Standards and write local assessments aligned
with standards. Programs that are pertinent to physical education
and health teachers, and sponsored by ISBE and IAHPERD in collaboration
with the Professional Development Alliance will be offered. Dealing
with waivers, alignment with standards and quality Blue Ribbon
Physical Education programs are possible workshops that will be
available through the state organizations. The Registry of Physical
Education Consultants is being formed in order to provide a list
of qualified consultants in the fields of physical education,
dance education, and adapted physical education to school boards
and administrators. For assistance or additional information please
