Improvement Planning
|
Schools are required to engage in annual school improvement planning.
Schools are required to notify the Regional Superintendent in
writing prior to September 30 of each year that an internal review
has occurred for the proceeding year. Schools should become familiar
with the components of a school improvement plan referenced in
the School Code, 2-3, 63. Professional Development Alliance offers
workshops and technical assistance throughout the year for school
improvement teams who choose to adjust their SIP to include these
components. Staff is available to work with SIP teams, curriculum
alignment committees, grade level teams or administrators and
will custom design technical assistance to meet your needs.
Technical Assistance will be provided in the following areas:
- Review of existing school improvement plans
- On-site internal review assistance
- Focused review training workshops
- School Improvement planning cycle assistance
- Standards alignment
- School Safety Audit
- Review Technology Plans
- Detailed explanation of compliance form
