Alex’s commitment to work with faculty, staff and administrators for the benefit of the students they serve is the driving force behind her work. Her passion for excellence in education and natural ability to work collaboratively with school and district teams results in customized solutions to meet specific needs. She also provides a variety of outstanding professional development opportunities, customized to meet their needs in the following areas:
Alex brings her years as a special education teacher, department chair/coordinator, school administrator, and university instructor to the services she provides to schools, teachers and school leaders.
Alex is currently a member of the Council of Exceptional Children and Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
Alex’s educational background includes a B.S. Ed in Special Education from Indiana University, a M.S. Ed. in Education from Chicago State University, and a C.A.S. in Educational Administration from University of Illinois in Urbana. As a lifelong learner, her own professional development continues as she takes advantage of many professional development opportunities throughout the year.
