Her passion for children’s literature and literacy has driven Gail to be an Amazon golden one click member. The desire to share this love of reading has challenged Gail to spread her message to teachers, students, and administrators. Developing best practices in reading instruction, valuing independent reading, creating a rich vocabulary environment, all aimed at increased student achievement is the goal of her staff development.
Gail combines the framework for writing and her 6-trait writing training to guide teachers through a model of instruction focusing on the process approach to writing and writer’s workshop.
