Mary is passionate about working closely with teachers within their classrooms. Mary has worked in the past as an elementary teacher for ten years. She also worked as a supervisor for cooperating teachers at the University of St. Francis.
At the Professional Development Alliance, Mary works closely within the Induction & Mentoring for Teachers Initiative. She is an ICE 21 (Induction for 21st Century Educator) trainer and coach. Annually, she trains new mentors to provide beginning teachers with the tools and resources they need to build a solid foundation for future success. She also can guide your new teachers by providing a series of mini-workshops to enhance their educational knowledge.
Mary prides herself on building lasting professional relationships with her schools. She works with schools on their school improvement planning, writing and implementation stages which includes professional development for administrators and teachers.
Mary earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the College of St. Francis. She earned her Master of Arts in Administration from Governors State University.
