Patti Furlano

Patti is a national presenter developing, designing, and delivering workshops, presentations and trainings at national and state conferences, universities, schools, businesses and organizations. She is the published author of several articles on positive culture and the change process. She serves as the Director for the Learning Technology Center 1-South. As a leader in the state, she works guiding school districts in their planning for comprehensive technology integration to support student achievement.  Patti has worked for over a decade as a Professional Development Consultant for the Professional Development Alliance and Vista Learning Patti has extensive training in Adult Learning Theory, Instructional Design and Participant Centered Presentation Skills.  A former Library Media Specialist and Technology Coordinator, her areas of expertise include:

• Creating and sustaining effective climates and cultures to increase productivity and encourage organizational growth and development
• Technology integration and planning                                                      
• Preparing leaders to plan and execute a successful change effort  
• Working with at-risk youth to achieve success                         
• Facilitation and consensus building

Patti’s educational background includes a degree from Governor’s State University, University Park, IL, and an MSEd Degree from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL. She is a graduate of the National Staff Development Council Academy XIV.
