Bob Wennberg

Bob Wennberg is passionate about fostering growth in teachers and administrators that will accelerate student learning and strengthen school climate. As an Educational Consultant, Bob is skilled in listening, assessing the needs of teachers and principals, and providing customized coaching and support for teachers and principals. He serves as:

• New Principal Mentoring Coordinator for Will, Kendall, and Grundy Counties
• Trainer/Presenter for the Introduction to Evaluation of Certified Staff Workshop
• Co-Facilitator of RESPRO (Regional Service Provider) Principal's Cadre
• Trainer/Presenter for Planning and Facilitating Effective Meetings
• RESPRO Coach for District and School Improvement Plans

Bob has extensive training in Facilitation, Mentoring, Coaching, Cognitive Coaching, Teacher Supervision and Evaluation, Syatems Framework, Professional Learning Communities, and School Improvement Planning.  He has over 33 years of expereince as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal.  As an administrator, Bob was a recipient of the Innovative Technology Award, "Those Who Excel" Award, and recognized by Western Illinois University for his work in professional development.

Bob's belief that R. Carter's quote, "A leader takes people where they want to go.  A great leader takes people where they don't necessarily want to go, but ought to be.", informs all of his work with educators. 

Bob's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Indiana; Master of Arts from Chicago State University, Chicago, Illinois.  He is also an adjunct graduate instructor and college supervisor for student teachers. Bob is a member of Illinois Principal's Association and Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
