Ed.D in Educational Leadership

with Superintendent Endorsement from NIU

This Ed.D in Educational Admimistration, with a Superintendent Endorsement, is offered through Northern Illinois University.  This program focuses on mission-driven leadership and strategic planning to enhance student achievement. Courses are adapted both to the aims of future leaders and to the specific challenges faced by districts in which they are currently employed. Throughout the program, students will expected to apply theory, concepts, and research methods in the district in which they are employed, providing candidates opportunities to demonstrate competency in leadership and to generate research topics relevant to district goals. 

A cohort format is utilized.  The majority of classes will be held at the PDA in Joliet. Students will meet on Wednesdays from 5:30-8:30.
