The Professional Development Alliance maintains a partnership with Olivet Nazarene University to provide a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. This program offers personal reconnection to the reason why you chose teaching as a profession: to make a difference in the life of every young person you teach. This program utilizes a problem-based format and challenges teachers to learn state-of-the-art strategies that can be implemented immediately in the classroom. You will learn to create a learning environment that encourages critical thinking, analysis, and reflection.
This program is offered through a cohort model which can be completed in less than 2 years. Candidates are required to complete 33 graduate semester-hours of course work culminating with an applied research project.
Cohorts are established at the PDA or in convenient locations throughout our 3-county area. Classes meet 1 evening per week for 4 hours. Financial aid is available.
