The Professional Development Alliance maintains partnerships with both Concordia University Chicago and St. Xavier University University to provide to provide area educators with two outstanding Master of Arts Degree Programs in Educational Leadership. Below is a brief summary of each program.
Concordia University Chicago:

Students who complete this program of study, and have at least two years of teaching experience in a state-recognized school, and pass the State Administrative Exam, are eligible for the Illinois State Administrative Certificate (Type 75). Application for the endorsement is made through the Office of the Registrar following graduation.
30 Semesters Hours are required for this degree. This program prepares educators for administrative responsibility. This program is designed to help the candidate:
This program of study is offered through a cohort model. Classes will be conducted at the PDA or at a site in in Will, Grundy or Kendall County.
St. Xavier University

The Master of Arts program in educational administration and supervision prepares candidates to become principals in elementary or high schools, or assistant superintendents and program directors in both private and public educational settings. The program focuses on instructor leadership. school management, staff development and assuming leadership fpr implementing the state mandated school improvement processa. Completion of the master's degree program in educational administration and supervision, passing state administration tests and providing proof of work experience as a teacher or qualified personnel for an accumulated total of two years full time are necessary components to earn the State of Illinois Type 75 certificate.
This program is offered through a cohort model. 34 semester hours are required for this degree. Classes will be conducted at the PDA or at a site in Will, Grundy or Kendall County.
