The Universal Service Program for Schools
and Libraries - more widely known as the "E-rate"
- is a Federal program that provides discounts to K-12 schools
(public and private) and public libraries to assist them with
Internet connectivity. The discounts range from 20% - 90% and
are based on the income levels of the students and their eligibility
for the National School Lunch Program. LTC1S,
has supported your needs by assisting you with your application
process here at the Professional Development Alliance. We want
to encourage all schools that have applied to continue to apply
and those schools who have not, to begin the process. Go to The
Universal Service Administration Company (USAC) for Schools and
Libraries' site for complete information.
