JANUARY 30TH, 2019 9:00AM - 10:00AM | Ed360 is a free, new data dashboard from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) that allows educators to view near-real time student data to help them make data-driven instructional decisions. Two members of the Ed360 Outreach Team, Kara Mernaugh & Pete Bultmann, will provide a presentation about Ed360 along with a demonstration of the dashboard. There will be an opportunity to ask questions. Continental breakfast will be included.
If you hold an Associate's degree or have 60 semester hours, then we invite you to attend an approved training program to obtain a short-term substitute license! Upon completion and approval from the board, you will be able to substitute teach all public school grades (K-12) until June 30th, 2023. The short-term substitute license cannot be renewed. APRIL 18TH, 2019 4:00PM - 6:00PM | STARLAB is a portable planetarium that can be used to enhance science lessons and STEM fairs. In this training, you will learn how to reserve, set up, and use the lab to support various science lessons. Students can enter STARLAB and feel like they have been transported into space or a cell.
