Cathie Pezanoski has thirty-five years of public school education experience in Illinois. Cathie was a classroom teacher for twelve years, a building principal for eight years in three different districts, Director of Elementary Curriculum and Instruction for Plainfield CCSD #202, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for Downers Grove District #58, and is in her last of nine years as Superintendent of Elwood CCSD #203. She is retiring in June of 2021. Cathie also serves as the President for the IASA Three Rivers Superintendents Region. Cathie has taught graduate level curriculum and instruction courses at the University of St. Francis in Joliet for teachers wishing to become instructional leaders and/or principals. She has also facilitated Administrator Academy workshops for her fellow superintendents through the IASA organization. Cathie currently leads an “Exemplary” district in Will County. She is an Associate for School Exec Connect and is also a coach/mentor for new superintendents or principals in the Will, Grundy and Kendall County areas.
