As an educational consultant for the Professional Development Alliance for the past 15 years, Mary has worked coached many schools and districts in Will, Grundy, & Kendall counties. Mary provided guidance, leadership and information on how to incorporate current State initiatives. Working closely within the Foundational Services grant, Mary was instrumental in providing quality continuous improvement planning to several schools/districts in all three counties.
She serves as the Director of Professional Development at the Professional Development Alliance. Mary continuously strives to build and strengthen relationships with teachers, administrators, and school leaders. She has repeatedly provided guidance in professional development by thoughtfully matching professional, superior consultants to work with a school to meet their needs. As an active listener, she has the patience and discernment to identify their needs and help them implement the changes. Mary is excited to learn new avenues of professional development & continually growing professionally with her neighboring schools/district. She is a people person, who learns from every professional relationship she establishes.
She is a member of ASCD (Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development), a member of the Computers2Kids Advisory Board, and holds her B.A. in Education from the College of St. Francis. She also received her masters of administration from Governors State University.
